With three generations of beekeepers behind them, the Daybreak Apiaries team brings over 50 years of passion and experience to every jar of honey. Working in Tasmania’s untouched landscapes, they produce pure, high-quality honey straight from the hive – with no additives, no blending, and no compromise. Their commitment to sustainable beekeeping and certified food safety ensures every drop of honey stays as nature intended – rich, raw, and full of natural goodness.

Since 1920, the Stephens family has been harvesting honey from Tasmania’s wild and pristine landscapes. Founded by the late Robert Stephens, what began as a pre-WWI hobby has grown into a thriving, multi-generational business with 2,500 hives – producing over a third of Tasmania’s honey. Each summer, their bees journey to the remote World Heritage rainforests of the West Coast, where they collect nectar from the native leatherwood trees, crafting a honey renowned for its bold, floral character.

With roots stretching back to 1897, the Bourkes are at the heart of Tasmania’s oldest beekeeping company. Lindsay and Yeonsoon Bourke lead a team that manages over 4,000 hives across Tasmania, producing award-winning honey and exporting live bees and premium products around the world. From pollinating berries to crafting honey in their state-of-the-art Sheffield facility, their mission is simple – share the best honey Australia has to offer, straight from the source.

Beekeeping runs deep in the Charles family. Robbie has spent decades tending hives in Tasmania’s remote west, where his father began working bees in 1955. Today, alongside his wife Nicola, and their kids, Thomas and Ella (pictured), they continue the family tradition – operating hundreds of hives across the rainforest and sharing the values of care, patience, and deep respect for the environment.
